Cardinal Taps 30-Year Industry Veteran Erik West as President of Carolinas
Cardinal Infrastructure Group promoted industry veteran Erik West, with over 30 years’ construction experience and a decade at the company, to President of the Carolinas to oversee all North and South Carolina operations. West previously led integration of acquisitions in Greensboro and Charlotte and will focus on regional growth and client service.

Erik West was named President of the Carolinas at Cardinal Infrastructure Group, assuming responsibility for all North and South Carolina operations effective March 20, 2026. The move underscores the Carolinas as a strategic growth region within the company’s market expansion plan.
2. West’s Industry Experience
West brings over 30 years of construction industry expertise and has served at Cardinal since 2016. As former Chief Operating Officer of Cardinal Civil Contracting, he managed multimillion-dollar civil construction projects across residential, commercial and industrial site development.
3. Strategic Regional Expansion
He led the integration of acquisitions in Greensboro and Charlotte, scaling Cardinal’s presence into one of the Carolinas’ leading integrated site-development platforms. In his new role, he will focus on client service and operational discipline to capitalize on upcoming project opportunities.
