Cascale Launches Advisory Council with Columbia Sportswear, Patagonia to Guide Higg Index
Cascale has established a Technical Advisory Council including representatives from Columbia Sportswear, Patagonia, Primark, WWF and others to provide transparent, structured recommendations on the Higg Index to its Executive Team and Board. The TAC will publish recorded outputs to all members and rollout additional governance changes throughout 2026.
1. Council Formation and Membership
Cascale created a Technical Advisory Council composed of representatives from CIEL Textiles, Columbia Sportswear, EILEEN FISHER, Elevate Textiles, Leadership & Sustainability, MAS Holdings, Patagonia, Primark, Sapphire Textile Mills, World Resource Institute and World Wildlife Fund, alongside experts from 2B Policy, UNEP and GRI.
2. Advisory Role and Governance Outputs
The TAC will deliver structured, transparent recommendations on the Higg Index, with all outputs recorded and distributed through established governance channels to Cascale’s Executive Team, Board of Directors and full membership to align global sustainability strategies.
3. Future Governance Phases
Throughout 2026, Cascale plans to phase in further governance system changes, with members accessing updates and documentation via the Governance section on Cascale Connect to ensure ongoing transparency and participation.
