CSTL•Castle Biosciences said a prospective study linked low-risk DecisionDx-Melanoma results to 4.4% sentinel lymph node positivity and 99.6% five-year recurrence-free survival without biopsy. The company will present the data at EADV 2026 on Oct. 1 in Vienna.
1. Study findings
The prospective, multicenter study supports using DecisionDx-Melanoma to help some melanoma patients skip sentinel lymph node biopsy and to identify early-stage patients who may need closer post-surgical surveillance. Separate EADV ePoster data indicate the test can clarify recurrence risk when tumor transection makes biopsy-based staging uncertain.
