Castor Maritime posted Q2 net income of USD 26.8 million, more than doubled from USD 6.3 million a year earlier.
Total vessel revenues rose 46.1% to USD 14.9 million, while revenue from services increased 37.2% to USD 10.7 million.
Earnings per share climbed to USD 1.70 from USD 0.34, and cash and restricted cash fell to USD 109.4 million from USD 152.8 million at Dec. 31.
For the six months, net income swung to USD 96 million from a USD 17 million loss, while total vessel revenues increased 24.7% to USD 26.8 million.
Completed two vessel acquisitions, prepaid USD 22.3 million of its sustainability-linked senior term loan, and cited stronger freight rates and steady charter demand.
