CBAK Energy completes ramp-up of Nanjing Phase II battery plant expansion

CBAK Energy completed the production ramp-up at its Nanjing Phase II battery facility in August 2026, expanding output of its Model 32140 cells.
- Daily Phase II capacity reached about 177,800 cells in July, up 174% from January, easing earlier ramp-up cost pressure.
- Model 32140 shipments rose 101.5% year over year to about 32,550,000 units in the first seven months of 2026.
- Export lead times ran about nine days, with no production-related delivery delays under the current schedule.
