CBL Properties closes two land sales, lifts 2025 proceeds above $30 million
CBL•CBL Properties closed land sales at Harford Mall and Friendly Center, lifting 2025 land-sale proceeds above $30 million. The deals support more than 515 multifamily units across the two sites.
1. Two multifamily projects
CBL Properties sold a 3.9-acre parcel at Harford Mall in Maryland to Cohere Development for a 249-unit luxury multifamily project targeting a fall 2028 opening. It also sold about 7 acres at Friendly Center in North Carolina to Hines for a 270-unit Class A multifamily development next to Whole Foods.
