CBOT Trends-Wheat down 7-9 cents, corn down 1-3 cents, soy down 11-14 cents

CHICAGO, Aug. 4 (Reuters) - The following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade at 8:30 a.m. CDT (1330 GMT) on Tuesday.
Corn pressured by rain forecasts and profit-taking
- Forecasts for beneficial U.S. rain encouraged profit-taking that dragged down CBOT corn Cv1, analysts said.
- Rain will reduce dryness in the Midwest, according to Commodity Weather Group.
- The USDA cut its good-to-excellent rating for the corn crop for a third straight week on Monday, following hot and dry weather in the Midwest. It was the lowest corn condition rating for the 31st week of the year since 2023, according to agency data.
- CBOT December corn CZ26 was last down 3-1/2 cents at $4.69 per bushel.
