CDT Equity partners with QIMA Life Sciences to study tapinarof combination therapies in psoriasis and vitiligo
CDT•Partnership to evaluate tapinarof combinations
CDT Equity entered a partnership with QIMA Life Sciences to evaluate novel tapinarof combination therapies in autoimmune skin diseases.
Initial work targets plaque psoriasis, using human psoriatic skin to support development of a second-generation tapinarof topical with improved efficacy.
Studies will also assess tapinarof combinations in vitiligo, which affects about 0.5%-2.0% of the global population.
The vitiligo drug market is estimated at about US$2.6 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach US$6.6 billion by 2030.
