Celcuity publishes presentation on gedatolisib in advanced breast cancer
CELC•Celcuity published a presentation comparing gedatolisib regimens in previously treated PIK3CA wild-type HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. In an eight-study network meta-analysis, the triplet improved six-month progression-free survival by 38 percentage points versus capivasertib with fulvestrant, while the doublet improved it by 31 points; the findings relied on indirect comparisons with limitations.
1. Presentation findings
Celcuity published a medical research presentation comparing gedatolisib regimens with other treatments in previously treated PIK3CA wild-type HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. In an eight-study network meta-analysis, the gedatolisib triplet significantly improved progression-free survival versus all non-gedatolisib regimens except ribociclib with fulvestrant. At six months, progression-free survival favored the triplet by 38 percentage points over capivasertib with fulvestrant and 20 points over imlunestrant with abemaciclib; the doublet showed a statistically significant 31-point improvement over capivasertib with fulvestrant. The analysis used indirect treatment comparisons, and cross-trial differences and assumptions limited interpretation.
