Celldex Q2 FY26 net loss widens to $73.5 million; R&D expenses climb to $67.5 million

Celldex posted a Q2 net loss of $73.5 million, or ($0.94) per share, widening from a $56.6 million loss a year earlier.
R&D expense climbed 24.54% to $67.5 million on higher barzolvolimab trial and contract manufacturing costs and higher headcount.
G&A expense rose 25.96% to $13.1 million, driven by higher barzolvolimab commercial planning costs; revenue was no material revenue.
Cash position and pipeline timeline
Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $717.6 million at June 30, up from $451.5 million at March 31 on a $323.8 million offering.
Phase 3 barzolvolimab CSU topline data is expected in Sept./Oct. 2026, with a BLA planned for 2027. Celldex expects cash to fund operations through 2028.
