Cellectar reports Phase 1 study publication supports iopofosine I-131 potential in relapsed multiple myeloma
CLRB•Phase 1 results published for iopofosine I-131
Cellectar BioSciences reported publication of Phase 1 results for iopofosine I-131 plus low-dose dexamethasone in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.
In 26 efficacy-evaluable patients, 84.6% achieved stable disease or better; overall response rate was 15.4% with four partial responses.
Higher doses showed greater activity and safety remained manageable
Among patients receiving at least 60 mCi (n=10), overall response rate was 30%, suggesting higher activity at higher total administered doses.
Safety profile was described as manageable, with adverse events mainly predictable, reversible cytopenias; no new safety signals were identified.
