Celularity named Rick Gonzalez as Chief Commercial Officer, effective May 29, 2026. He will report to Chairman and CEO Robert J. Hariri and lead global strategy and execution for the company’s cenplacel-L cell therapy and Lifebank cellular banking platforms.
Gonzalez brings over 20 years of executive leadership across biotechnology, medical technology and digital health. His tenure includes scaling Spectrum Pharmaceuticals’ revenue from $7.7 million to $300 million and driving 2.5x year-over-year growth at Navidea, plus commercialization roles at Alume Biosciences, Genzyme and Roche.
Under Gonzalez’s leadership, Celularity aims to expand physician access to cenplacel-L in permissive markets, strengthen educational and market development initiatives, and grow Lifebank sales by broadening engagement with healthcare providers and consumers seeking cellular banking for future regenerative medicine applications.
