1. Earnings and sales rise
Cemex reported third-quarter EBITDA of $990 million, up 12% from a year earlier, and net sales of $4.59 billion, up 8%. Higher gray cement volumes contributed to the sales increase, while revenue in Mexico rose 16%, supported by government social programs.
2. Asset sales continue
Cemex said it sold ready-mix and recycled concrete assets in Atlanta and has started negotiations with Vicat to sell concrete assets in France. Since its asset-pruning initiative began in 2025, the company has gathered more than $200 million in divestment proceeds. Cemex expects Mexican industry demand to remain constructive, with continued momentum in residential construction in 2027.
