Centrus Energy signed a definitive contract to supply X-energy with LEU and HALEU enrichment services for initial Xe-100 reactors and TRISO-X fuel deployments.
X-energy will make prepayments to support domestic commercial enrichment capacity expansion.
Supply will be produced at the American Centrifuge Plant in Pike County, Ohio.
The deal adds to a $3 billion contingent LEU and HALEU backlog, including $2.4 billion already definitized.
