Centrus hosts Ohio Gov. DeWine, JobsOhio at Piketon uranium enrichment facility
LEU•Expansion project underway
The multi-billion-dollar expansion of the Piketon uranium enrichment plant, announced in September 2025, is underway.
The project is expected to support 1,000 construction jobs, add 300 operating jobs, and retain 150 existing jobs at the site.
Ohio officials visit Piketon facility
Centrus hosted Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, and JobsOhio CEO J.P. Nauseef at its Piketon enrichment facility.
The visit focused on rebuilding the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain, energy security, advanced manufacturing, and workforce development.
