Ceribell wins CMS NTAP for delirium monitor, worth up to $2,171 per Medicare case
CBLL•CMS grants NTAP for Ceribell delirium monitor
Ceribell won a CMS New Technology Add-on Payment for up to USD 2,171 per eligible Medicare inpatient case using its Delirium Monitor System.
The payment add-on under Medicare’s IPPS takes effect Oct. 1, 2026, improving hospital reimbursement economics for the new monitoring service.
The decision follows FDA 510(k) clearance in December 2025 for the delirium device, positioning it as the only FDA-cleared aid for delirium screening.
