CERo Therapeutics activated Seattle’s Fred Hutch Cancer Center for its Phase 1 CERTAIN-T blood cancer trial of CER-1236 on Oct. 26, 2026. Previously reported findings covered six patients; a June 2026 update showed no treatment-related severe adverse events during the safety assessment window. Preliminary investigator observations noted clinical improvement in two patients, but formal response assessments are ongoing and no definitive safety or efficacy conclusions are possible. One patient with refractory acute myeloid leukemia subsequently underwent stem cell transplantation, with the longer-term outcome under evaluation. The trial protocol now includes myelodysplastic syndromes and myelofibrosis.
