Ceva and LG Electronics launch UWB SoC collaboration
CEVA entered a collaboration with LG Electronics to deliver a combined ultra-wideband solution for automotive, industrial, consumer system-on-chip customers.
The package pairs Ceva-Waves UWB baseband IP and software with LG’s UWB RF designed for TSMC 22nm, targeting faster SoC integration.
A major U.S. semiconductor company has adopted the joint solution, providing early commercial validation.
The offering supports IEEE 802.15.4ab, positioning CEVA to expand beyond digital keys into secure location, tracking, navigation and sensing applications.
