CGI Federal signs applied research pact with Defense Logistics Agency, University of Tennessee Knoxville
GIB•CGI Federal signed an applied research and development agreement with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville joining to test agentic AI, quantum computing for warehouse operations and supply-chain resilience.
1. Research initiative
The initiative, branded Quantum Pathfinder, targets mission-grade use cases in contested logistics environments. CGI Federal will host the effort at its Knoxville delivery center, and the work is expected to scale in the next fiscal year.
