ChargePoint agrees to $11 million settlement in securities class action in California federal court
CHPT•ChargePoint entered a term sheet on Sept. 28, 2026, for a proposed $11 million cash settlement of a U.S. securities class action, subject to court approval.
1. Proposed settlement
The proposed settlement would resolve claims against ChargePoint and former executives Pasquale Romano, Rex Jackson and Michael Hughes. ChargePoint expects to execute a final settlement agreement and seek preliminary approval within 30 days of signing the term sheet; funds would be placed in escrow within 21 days of preliminary approval or receipt of payment instructions, whichever is later.
