ChargePoint partners with Portland International Airport on overhead fast-charging rollout for rental cars

ChargePoint partnered with Portland International Airport to deploy a rapid EV fast-charging system for rental-car electrification at PDX.

• Installation in the airport’s Quick Turnaround facility uses 10 dual-port overhead fast-charging dispensers, enabling up to 20 vehicles to charge simultaneously.
• The overhead design targets higher charger uptime, reduced equipment damage risk, reclaimed parking space, and improved rental-fleet utilization.
• The deployment includes ChargePoint fleet software for remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and control of charging across rental-car operations.
