Labcorp partners with FDA, Charles River to advance drug abuse potential testing
CRL•Labcorp entered a research collaboration with the FDA and Charles River Laboratories to improve methods for evaluating medicines’ abuse potential using harmonized behavioral economics methods.
1. Research collaboration
The research will use harmonized behavioral economics methods to quantify and rank abuse potential, supporting safer drug development and regulatory decisions. Labcorp will contribute regulatory study expertise, while FDA scientists will analyze data and provide regulatory science expertise.
