House-passed funding bill delays hemp product ban
Charlotte's Web welcomed the House-passed continuing resolution, citing added time for Congress to set baseline hemp regulations.
The measure extends the policy runway to Dec. 11, 2026.
The continuing resolution delays a Nov. 12 ban on naturally derived hemp products. The prohibition on synthetic cannabinoids remains in place.
CEO Bill Morachnick urged a science-based federal framework separating therapeutic hemp products from intoxicating synthetics.
