Charter Expands Spectrum Business with AI-Powered Contact Center and Conversation Intelligence
Charter Communications expanded its Spectrum Business partnership with RingCentral to launch UCX with RingCentral, integrating RingCX’s AI-first omnichannel contact center and ACE’s conversation intelligence for mid-market and enterprise customers over Spectrum’s managed network. The platform, unifying voice, video and 20+ digital channels, will roll out nationwide in late March.
1. Expanded Partnership
Charter Communications and RingCentral have broadened their collaboration by introducing UCX with RingCentral to Spectrum Business customers. This integration combines Charter’s managed network with RingCentral’s RingCX and ACE solutions to deliver a unified communications and contact center platform for mid-market and enterprise users.
2. RingCX and ACE Features
RingCX offers an AI-first omnichannel contact center that consolidates voice, video and over 20 digital channels into a single workspace with automated AI quality management scoring 100% of interactions. ACE provides conversation intelligence by transcribing and analyzing every call and meeting to surface deal risks, competitor mentions and sales best practices, syncing insights directly into customer CRMs.
3. Deployment and Availability
UCX with RingCentral will be available nationwide to Spectrum Business customers in late March, with live demonstrations scheduled at HIMSS 2026 and Enterprise Connect in Las Vegas. Charter will leverage its 58 million home and business connections across 41 states to drive customer onboarding, supported by 24/7 local service and network reliability.
4. Business Impact
By eliminating fragmented systems and embedded manual workflows, UCX with RingCentral aims to accelerate customer resolution times, enhance service quality and generate deeper operational insights. The expanded offering positions Charter to capture additional enterprise spend on AI-driven communications services, potentially boosting recurring revenue and competitive differentiation.
