Charter Introduces Multiview for Four Simultaneous NCAA Tournament Games
Charter Communications has launched Multiview in its Spectrum TV App, enabling customers to watch up to four NCAA tournament games simultaneously on Xumo Stream Box and smart TVs including Apple TV and Roku. The feature will expand to cover NHL and NBA playoffs, World Cup, college football and NFL games.
1. Feature Overview
Spectrum’s new Multiview feature allows customers to watch up to four NCAA men’s or women’s basketball games simultaneously within the Spectrum TV App. Users can select which game’s audio feed to follow or switch any game to full-screen with a tap.
2. Platform Availability and Requirements
Multiview is available on Xumo Stream Box, Xumo TV, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Samsung, LG and Vizio smart TVs for subscribers with eligible Spectrum TV packages. Curated game lineups appear on the app’s home screen for immediate selection and in-view controls simplify audio and display adjustments.
3. Expansion Roadmap
Charter plans to enhance Multiview to include NHL and NBA playoffs, FIFA World Cup, college football matchups and select NFL games. This roadmap is designed to boost viewer engagement during major sports events and differentiate Spectrum’s streaming offerings.
