Florida Energy Pathway planned as 24-inch intrastate pipeline
Chesapeake Utilities launched the Florida Energy Pathway, a planned 24-inch intrastate natural gas pipeline from Palm Beach County to Miami-Dade County.
The project targets added transportation capacity to ease south Florida supply constraints, bolster reliability, and extend service to homes and businesses.
It is anchored by firm commitments of nearly 250,000 dekatherms per day from multiple investment-grade shippers, with upstream supply tied to Florida Gas Transmission Phase IX.
