Chevron names Jeff Gustavson CFO in senior leadership reshuffle
CVX•Chevron’s senior leadership changes take effect Jan. 1, 2027. Jeff Gustavson becomes CFO, Eimear Bonner becomes president of Oil, Products & Gas, Mark Nelson leads Strategy and Business Development, and Brent Gros takes over New Energies and adds oversight of AI strategy.
1. Leadership changes
Effective Jan. 1, 2027, Jeff Gustavson will become Chevron’s chief financial officer, moving from president of New Energies. Current CFO Eimear Bonner will become president of Oil, Products & Gas, while Mark Nelson will move from executive vice president of Oil, Products & Gas to lead Strategy and Business Development. Brent Gros will take over New Energies from his role as president of Offshore and add oversight of Chevron’s AI strategy.
