Chevron names Siva Barnwell Adams corporate secretary and chief governance officer
CVX•Chevron named Siva Barnwell Adams corporate secretary and chief governance officer effective Jan. 1, 2027, succeeding Mary A. Francis. Francis will become senior advisor to incoming Chief Legal Officer Scott A. Keller and is scheduled to retire in May 2027 after 25 years with the company.
1. Leadership changes
Barnwell Adams, currently deputy corporate secretary, previously led the Major Transactions Law Group as senior managing counsel. She will manage the Corporate Governance Department and serve on the Law Function Executive Committee. Francis will become senior advisor to incoming Chief Legal Officer Scott A. Keller effective Jan. 1, 2027.
