Jiayin said it is shifting focus to quality and efficiency amid evolving industry dynamics, and is expanding beyond loan facilitation into a diversified platform.
The company extended its share repurchase plan, buying 4.6 million ADS for $30.4 million as of Aug. 28.
Q2 results and dividend decision
China fintech platform Jiayin swung to a second-quarter loss as revenue fell 61% year over year on lower transaction volume.
The company posted a Q2 net loss and said it is suspending its dividend for fiscal 2026 to support capital investments and strategy execution.
Business contraction drove the loss
Jiayin said the net loss was primarily due to contraction of business scale. Transaction volume decreased and the average borrowing amount fell .
