BEIJING, July 24 (Reuters) - China opposes all unilateral tariffs, the foreign ministry's spokesperson told a daily news briefing on Friday, adding that trade wars do not serve any parties.
New levies take effect on 60 trading partners
The remarks came as the Trump administration imposed new tariffs of 10% and 12.5% on goods from 60 trading partners, including the European Union and China, over allegations of lax enforcement of forced labor bans, just as a temporary 10% global tariff expired.
