China's market regulator tells solar firms to curb price war
TAN•Market regulator urges solar firms to curb price competition
BEIJING, July 31 (Reuters) - China's market regulator urged solar companies to resist "vicious" price competition in a price compliance guidance meeting on Friday, a statement showed.
The State Administration for Market Regulation said it would guide photovoltaic companies in regulating price competition and penalise those that severely disrupt market order and refuse to correct their practices.
Representatives from 27 solar companies attended the meeting, the regulator said, without naming them.
