China GDP Growth Dips to 4.5% in Q4 with Retail Sales Missing Forecasts
China’s Q4 GDP growth slowed to 4.5%, the weakest pace since early 2023, while full-year output held at 5%, meeting Beijing’s target. December retail sales rose just 0.9%, below forecasts, even as industrial output climbed 5.2% and fixed-asset investment sank 3.8% over 2025.
