Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for further self-reliance in the country's advanced manufacturing, state news agency Xinhua reported on Thursday, citing instructions about the sector's development he conveyed at a conference in Beijing this week.
The instructions also included better coordination between development and security, Xinhua said.
