Chipotle’s Summer of Extras launches June 1 through August 31, 2026, inviting Rewards members to opt into monthly streak challenges. Members who complete seven qualifying visits earn a free entrée or 1,625 points, and new sign-ups receive a one-time chips and guac reward with a $5 purchase.
2. Enhanced Gamification
This year’s program adds local and state leaderboards for ranking nearly 23 million members, alongside limited-time Side Quests, gamified badges and weekly Rewards Exchange promotions starting June 8. Shareable stats launching later this summer will let participants showcase their streak progress and leaderboard positions on social media.
3. Proven Engagement Impact
In 2025, the initial Summer of Extras drove 6.4 million activations, generated $12 million in incremental sales and produced 37.8 million earned social impressions. These results underscore its effectiveness in deepening customer loyalty and boosting digital engagement.
