CHS FY26 profit nearly doubles on stronger refining margins, oilseed crush and ethanol gains
CHS fiscal 2026 revenue rose to $39.2 billion, while net income nearly doubled to $1.1 billion. The company plans to return $300 million to owners in fiscal 2027, up 150% from the prior year.
1. Fiscal 2026 results
CHS reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $39.2 billion and net income of $1.1 billion, nearly double the previous year. Improved refining margins, strong oilseed crush and ethanol margins, and a well-performing CF Nitrogen investment contributed to results; agronomy volumes declined amid a weak U.S. farm economy.
2. Owner returns and outlook
CHS plans a $300 million cash return to owners in fiscal 2027, up 150% from the prior year. The company expects its new phosphate and soybean facilities to become operational in late 2028 or 2029.
