CM•CIBC backs Modo Energy with new growth funding
CIBC Innovation Banking provided a $17 million growth funding package to Modo Energy, lifting the company’s total funding raised to $52 million.
CIBC Innovation Banking was the lead backer in the new capital, described as Modo Energy’s largest single commitment to date.
Modo Energy plans to use the financing to invest in its platform, expand sales and marketing, hire staff, and enter new markets.
