Cigna expects $3 billion in cost savings by 2030

Cigna said its new program aims to deliver about $3 billion in cost savings by 2030 by modernizing processes and streamlining workflows with AI-enabled insights and tools.
2. Financial expectations
The health insurer expects adjusted earnings per share to grow 10% to 14% annually through 2030 and to generate about $50 billion in operating cash over the five-year period from 2026. Cigna reiterated its 2026 forecast for revenue of about $280 billion and adjusted profit of at least $30.45 per share.
3. AI and medical costs
Cigna said its AI tools to identify patients with chronic conditions are expected to save customers $200 million in medical costs over the next three years.
