Cintas Midland Plant First Michigan Industrial Laundry to Earn MVPP Star Certification
Cintas’ Midland, Michigan site earned MVPP Star Worksite certification, becoming the first industrial laundry operation and first industrial Cintas facility in Michigan to achieve this status. Only 29 of Michigan’s 900,000 businesses hold MVPP Star certification, and as of February 2026 Cintas operates 140 VPP Star worksites nationwide.

Cintas’ Midland, Michigan industrial laundry facility has been formally certified as an MVPP Star Worksite by MIOSHA’s Michigan Voluntary Protection Program, becoming the first industrial laundry operation and first industrial Cintas location in the state to achieve this highest safety designation.

The MVPP Star status recognizes sites with exemplary safety and health management systems and injury and illness rates below industry averages for the past three years; only 29 out of Michigan’s 900,000 businesses hold this certification, which requires re-evaluation every three to five years.
