Carlyle and PAI Partners have agreed to sell London-headquartered specialty pharmaceutical company Theramex to private equity company Cinven. The companies did not disclose the financial terms; the deal was reportedly valued at 2.6 billion euros ($2.9 billion).
2. Women's health focus
Theramex focuses on women's health and offers treatments across menopause, osteoporosis, contraception, uterine health and fertility. CEO Robert Stewart said the company and Cinven share an ambition to become the global leader in women's health.
