Shares of networking equipment maker Cisco CSCO.O were down about 4% at $118.90 in extended trading.
Analysts said the company's upbeat forecasts still fell short of lofty investor expectations, prompting shares to reverse course after rising post-results.
Cisco forecasts annual revenue between $72.2 billion and $73.4 billion, above analysts' estimate of $68.69 billion; it expects adjusted EPS between $5.05 and $5.11, above estimates of $4.80, according to data compiled by LSEG.
The company also beat fourth-quarter sales and profit estimates.
As of the last close, CSCO was up about 61% year to date.
