Citi Trends Q2 FY26 turns to net loss of USD 931,000; net sales rise 10.9% to USD 211.63 million

Citi Trends posted Q2 fiscal 2026 net sales of $211.6 million, up 10.9% from a year earlier; comparable store sales rose 10.5%.
Net loss was $930,000, swinging from net income a year earlier that included a $11 million gain on a building sale.
Gross margin widened 0.6 percentage point to 40.6%; adjusted EBITDA turned positive to $5.5 million from a loss a year earlier.
First-half performance and outlook
First-half net income rose to $6.8 million; adjusted EBITDA increased to $19.4 million, already topping full-year fiscal 2025 adjusted EBITDA.
Fiscal 2026 outlook was raised, with comparable store sales growth seen at 9%–11% and adjusted EBITDA at $38 million–$42 million.
