1. Revenue estimate
Citigroup estimates Muse could generate more than $27 billion in annual revenue by 2030, including about $23 billion from transaction-related revenue and roughly $4.5 billion from subscriptions. The brokerage described Muse as increasingly becoming the “front door to the internet,” helping users search, compare and transact online.
2. Growing use
Muse has recorded more than 6.6 million cumulative downloads since launch, while daily active users have reached 1.8 million, Citi said. Unveiled last month, the assistant is central to Meta’s strategy to bring AI-powered personal agents to mainstream users and drive subscription and commerce revenue.
3. Rivals and shares
Citi said Muse benefits from a first-mover advantage as OpenAI’s ChatGPT Dots, Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude expand their agent offerings. Meta shares have risen 12.4% year-to-date and more than 20% since Muse debuted on September 8, leaving the company within striking distance of a $2 trillion market value.
