Citizens Financial Group will replace Deloitte & Touche with PwC as its independent auditor for fiscal 2027, after Deloitte completes its 2026 audits.

1. Auditor change

Citizens Financial Group’s audit committee approved the switch on October 28, 2026, subject to PwC’s standard client acceptance process. The company reported no disagreements or reportable events during 2024, 2025 or through October 28, 2026, and Deloitte’s audit reports for 2024 and 2025 contained no adverse opinions, disclaimers or qualifications.
