Civista Bancshares names Mark J. Sams chief revenue officer
CIVB•Civista Bancshares appointed Mark J. Sams senior vice president and chief revenue officer, overseeing treasury management, wealth management, private banking, healthcare solutions and strategic growth initiatives.
1. New revenue chief
Sams has led those businesses since January 2026 as senior vice president and senior revenue officer. He joined United Community Bank in 2014 as chief credit officer and became Civista’s regional market executive for Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana after Civista acquired United Community Bank in 2018.
