CJ CheilJedang teams with ADM to form US animal feed amino acids joint venture
ADM•CJ CheilJedang and ADM signed an agreement to form a global animal feed amino acids joint venture, owned 63% by CJ Bio America and 37% by ADM. The agreement is dated October 2, 2026, and is subject to regulatory clearances.
1. Joint venture agreement
CJ Corp unit CJ CheilJedang signed a contribution agreement with ADM to form a global animal feed amino acids joint venture, using in-kind contributions of related operating assets. The companies said the partnership targets stronger competitiveness in feed amino acids, closer global collaboration and more stable raw-material sourcing; CJ Corp will backstop certain losses if CJ Bio America fails to indemnify ADM within 30 days of written notice.
