Clarivate achieved a 24% reduction in total greenhouse gas emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, decreasing from 96,666 tCO₂e in 2024 to 73,110 tCO₂e in 2025 against its 2023 baseline. This substantial cut reflects strengthened measurement systems and targeted operational changes.
The company expanded its sustainability-certified workplaces to cover approximately 38% of global office space, integrating rigorous environmental standards into nearly two fifths of its facilities. Certification criteria include energy efficiency, waste reduction and sustainable materials.
ProQuest One Sustainability, designed to support sustainability teaching and research, was adopted by more than 400 institutions and recognized as a Best Reference Database. Clarivate employees also dedicated over 36,000 volunteer hours to community sustainability initiatives.
Clarivate partnered with Teva to enhance antimicrobial stewardship programs in Germany and Kenya, using data-driven insights to promote responsible antibiotic use. Future efforts will follow a materiality assessment framework, focusing on climate change, workforce impact, responsible conduct and supply-chain transparency.
