1. Leadership Appointment
Clarivate has appointed Simon Webster as President of its Intellectual Property segment, effective June 10, 2026, succeeding Maroun S. Mourad. Webster brings over two decades of leadership in IP software and services, including his tenure as CEO of CPA Global before its 2020 sale to Clarivate and guiding Vistra through a $6.5 billion merger.
2. Transition Details
Maroun S. Mourad will oversee a smooth handover to Webster and officially depart the company at the end of September 2026. This transition period ensures continuity within the IP segment as Webster assumes full operational responsibilities.
3. Strategic Growth Plan
Clarivate reaffirmed its full-year 2026 outlook and plans to advance its Value Creation Plan by leveraging AI-enhanced intelligence, improved sales execution and disciplined focus to achieve sustainable, recurring growth in its IP segment.
