The station is intended to support OCTA's expanding hydrogen bus fleet. OCTA has 10 fuel-cell buses in service, with 40 more expected by the time the station is built.
OCTA awards Clean Energy Fuels hydrogen station contract
Clean Energy Fuels won a $27.5 million Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) contract to design, build, operate and maintain a private hydrogen fueling station in Garden Grove, California.
The scope includes hydrogen station design-build, facility upgrades and liquid hydrogen supply. Project completion is targeted for 2028.
