1. Clear Channel Outdoor Launches National MLK Legacy Campaign

Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) has announced a strategic partnership with The King Center to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King through a large-scale digital billboard initiative. Beginning around Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2026, CCO will deploy messaging on more than 3,500 digital billboard units across 70 U.S. markets, including a flagship installation in Atlanta’s downtown district. The initial phase focuses on Dr. King’s calls for justice, peace and nonviolence, leveraging high-resolution video displays that reach an estimated 30 million weekly commuters. Subsequent phases, timed for Black History Month, will tap into The King Center’s archival collection—featuring rare photographs and speeches—to produce dynamic, rotating creative across CCO’s network. CCO projects that the multi-month campaign will generate over 200 million impressions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to socially impactful out-of-home advertising and providing marketers an opportunity to align with cultural heritage activations.
