Climb Bio's budoprutug achieves 38% immunologic remission rate at low dose in Phase 2 pMN trial
CLYM•Climb Bio reported a 38% immunologic remission rate with low-dose budoprutug in a Phase 2 primary membranous nephropathy trial. Both evaluated doses were generally well tolerated, and additional trial data are expected in 2027.
1. Phase 2 results
Climb Bio presented initial Phase 2 budoprutug results in primary membranous nephropathy at ASN Kidney Week 2026. Low-dose treatment reduced disease-associated antibodies and produced immunologic remission, consistent with earlier findings; higher-dose treatment showed deeper B-cell depletion. Both doses were generally well tolerated, with no treatment-related serious adverse events or treatment discontinuations reported. Additional trial data are expected in 2027.
2. Separate case study
A separate minimal change disease case study presented at the meeting documented three-year steroid-free remission following budoprutug treatment.
